Madonna se impuso a Taylor Swift en las nominaciones de los MTV Video Music Awards 2026. En la ceremonia, la “Reina del Pop” obtuvo 11 nominaciones, entre ellas una para la categoría más importante de la velada: Video del Año, donde compite con ‘Confessions II — The Film’.
En detalle, la oriunda de Michigan también está en carrera por el trofeo al Artista del Año y a la Canción del Año, donde se mide con ‘Bring Your Love’.
Taylor Swift, por su parte, recibió nueve nominaciones, entre ellas Video del Año, Mejor Pop y Mejor Fotografía por el clip de ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, y una candidatura al galardón del Artista del Año.
Otros que corren con ventaja son Ariana Grande y Sabrina Carpenter, cada una 7 nominaciones, además de Bruno Mars, Pink Panther y Zara (5 nominaciones). La estrella del k-pop Lisa obtuvo 4 candidaturas, mientras que Shakira y Tate McRae cosecharon 3.
La ceremonia de entrega de premios de los MTV Video Music Awards 2026 quedó agendada para el domingo 27 de septiembre en Los Angeles, California. La transmisión estará a cargo de MTV, CBS y Paramount+.
